“Leave the World Behind” debuted at the top of Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings after premiering on Netflix on Dec. 8. In its first three days on the platform, the film starring Ethan Hawke, Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali and Myha’la was watched for 1.9 billion minutes.
It was followed by “Young Sheldon,” which made its chart debut two weeks ago after debuting on Netflix, though it had already been available on Max. Across both streamers from Dec. 4 to Dec. 10, the CBS comedy was watched for 1.6 billion minutes, down from first place with with 1.8 billion minutes watched the week before.

With 1.3 billion minutes watched, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” landed in third place in its first full week of availability on Netflix — though the film was previously streaming on Peacock after its theatrical debut in April.
The No. 4 position went to “Squid Game: The Challenge,” the reality series based on the Netflix show of the same name. It dropped from last week’s 1.4 billion minutes watched to just over 1 billion minutes watched.
In its first full week of availability, the Netflix series “Obliterated” made its debut on the overall chart at No. 5 with 917 million minutes watched, following a second place showing on the streaming originals chart with 742 million minutes watched last week.
Sixth and seventh place went to acquired titles: “Grey’s Anatomy” with 915 million minutes and “Bluey” with 838 million minutes, respectively. At No. 8 was the Amazon Prime Video movie “Candy Cane Lane” with 803 million minutes in its first full week of availability, and the bottom two titles were also acquired: “NCIS” and “Suits” with 679 million minutes each.
